Introduction

Car sounds in Forza Horizon 5 - one of the most important features in FH5 that will be discussed prior to launch is the engine sounds within the game. I figured today I'd share my thoughts and expectations for car sounds in Forza Horizon 5 Mexico, after a lot of disappointment in Forza Horizon 4. We start off with some of my best sounding cars from EVERY Forza Horizon game, and then talk about why it is so important they get car sounds right for the Forza community! So so um me, you know, quite frankly, I don't even think I can hear myself think when I'm driving this car, but that's, what we want isn't it.

We want those loud ferocious engines.

We want to hear uniqueness in every car.

And honestly, we just want to be smiling when we drive our favorite cars in forza.

And this game at this point forza horizon 5, mexico, coming out in november, there's, no excuses for that to not be delivered to us.

You want to know why because this forza horizon has taken the longest time to develop.

Now, obviously, there was kobe.

There was the new consoles and I'm, not sure how much that affected how long this game has taken to produce, but they've had almost it will be over three years by the time.

This game releases to get this right.

And this is such a big topic.

This has been talked about so much.

And it is really important, especially to all the car lovers.

The true car lovers that play forza horizon, and it will make the experience so much better if they can just deliver their unique authentic car sounds and I'm, not just talking to a hundred of the 500 cars.

We need that for every single car.

Now some people might say, oh, well, you know, some some cars obviously share engines and blah, blah, blah, yadda yadda, that's great.

But at the end of the day, we all know that not every car sounds the same, even if it does share an engine, there's different exhaust notes, there's, different modifications that can make things sound different.

And for the video game purposes, they got to make every car feel unique.

One of my biggest examples of this would be the koenigsegg yes, go getting added into forza.

Horizon.

4., obviously, there's been other koenigseggs and yes, some of the koenigsegg share engines.

But when you're driving this car in the game for a couple years, and then we get this car added into the game.

Yeah, it didn't really make the esco sound too exciting.

Did it it didn't even make the car feel different? It just felt like we're driving the same car.

It just looked different and I'm, sorry.

But anyone that actually truly cares about the cars in this game.

That's just not right.

It just doesn't, sit, right with you.

You know, I'm saying, you gotta have different sounds for these different cars.

And even if they do share engines again, at least, the exhaust note should be a little bit different.

Now I do want to say, though there is one thing.

I think people take for granted and that's, the fact that we have 752 cars in forza horizon, 4.

Now you compare that to need for speed the crew to whatever you want to throw into the mix.

No other game has nearly the amount of cars that we have in forza.

But I feel like now, since this game has had three years to go into development.

And also they have all this new technology with the new consoles.

They should have taken the time to make sure they deliver a unique car sound to every single engine in this game that's coming out, and they may have done it.

They may have not the good thing is.

And part of the reason I'm making this video is tomorrow.

July 12th, they're actually going to be doing another forza.

Horizon 5, let's, go live stream.

I think it'll be on twitch.

They are actually going to be talking about car sounds and the lead audio designer is going to be discussing things with us.

So I'm really excited to hear what they have to say, we're, definitely going to learn a lot about the engine.

Sounds I'm.

Sure, the only thing is, will we hear what we want to hear another perspective? I have though is the fact that forza this franchise.

This is no longer a small franchise.

They have expanded to pc.

They are on steam.

I mean, maybe one day we'll, even see it on playstation and switch.

I I have no idea if that's gonna happen, but that would be incredible.

Imagine the player base then.

But this game in this franchise, this community has grown so much, and there are so many passionate people that love playing forza.

It is time for them to give back to us.

You know what I'm saying they have made so much money, I'm sure with all the sales and all the dlc and everything else going on before it's a horizon and forza motorsport, and we deserve to get what we want all the vocal people on social medias and stuff, of course, the vocal people they're, always the criticizers, and hopefully the constructive criticizers.

And also the negative people they'll talk about the negative aspects and the things wrong with the game.

And we need to remember to talk about all the great amazing things about the game because forza is the best racing video game that there is out there.

I think anywhere that's my personal opinion, of course, but if they can just add that final element and go back to like forza horizon, one two and three where they had some incredible car sounds and just make sure that all the cars in the game are like that.

Man, people will love the franchise even more.

So I guess the reason I'm making this video is, I really want this franchise to continue to be enhanced to continue to improve.

And one of the biggest ways one of the best ways to keep us, engaged and keep us really disconnected and just loving this game is to make sure every car, especially when they add new cars, they're all unique, they all feel different.

And the main way that these cars feel different is the sounds it's, such a huge thing.

Obviously, there's the handling and the looks, but the sounds if they're the same like the yes, go like I mentioned.

It just does not give you a new experience and that's.

The reason so many people are tired of forza horizon, 4 aside from being on the same map.

And aside from the game being out for so long, if we had a lot of new cars that ratted with new car, sounds and just things that kept us more engaged and also playlist events going to the festival playlist.

I mean, I'm going to start getting off topic here, but the festival playlist, we've repeated so many events over and over and over the same rewards.

And everything like that, when this new game comes out it's going to be so fresh for everybody.

And if the cars can put a smile on your face like this is right now, I think forza.

Horizon 5 has the chance to be one of the best forza horizons ever and that's saying a lot, because we have had some great games.

Horizon 2's map was amazing.

Horizon.

3 was one of the best balanced games overall and horizon.

4 has just brought a new element, but we're on a new console.

Now they've had so long to update the game and send so many improvements through.

And I think the only thing that's, really an uncertainty at this point is the car sounds, the engine, sounds I'm so excited to hear this live stream tomorrow, see what they have to say, hopefully you guys will tune in on twitch with me.

And the biggest thing is, you guys need to talk to me in the comment section share how you're feeling beauty of gaming.

These days is that social media is just so connected when it comes to gaming.

We can talk to the developers we can share as a community how we feel and one of the ways to do that is to bring up topics like this, because then we can talk about it as a community.

We can share how we feel.

And the game is still not even released yet.

If we make sure that we hammer through to them like, hey, this is something that's very important to us.

There's a very high chance that things will be looking up and very good in the future for forza.

Horizon 5.

Mexico, man, I am excited.

You guys believe in a few months.

Finally, after three years, the longest we've ever waited for a new horizon.

Game we're gonna have forza horizon 5.

Mexico.

I don't think anybody could be more excited than I am I'm sure there are people that could claim that they are.

But deep down man.
